Well here we go...

Due to current family circumstances, as of now I am not taking any new clients, or scheduling any more sessions for 2012.

{Of course, If you have a scheduled date with me for a shoot, than I will still honor that}.

Dont worry, these are good circumstances for my family and I! But because of my overwhelming family schedule and what this next year will bring, I need to prioritize. {If I don't, the dearest things to me heart will suffer for it.} My callings in this life as a wife and mother take priority over everything else. It is who I am. :-) And I love it. And so, with that in mind, I need to cut back greatly on my Photography business. So much that it will now be on my own personal hobby level again. Perhaps the time will come that I will be able to start up again, but as of now, I cannot see that happening until a long time away. {hopefully sooner than later, because this truly IS a passion of mine and I have SO enjoyed it!}

I am so grateful for all of you who have given me this opportunity to learn & grow in my hobby. To get to know your beautiful families! When I began on this journey 3 years years ago I never imagined How it would Enrich my life! It has been such a JOY! You have ALL been such a JOY!

And I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

{R & S} Engagements

I had the wonderful opportunity to take these Engagement Pictures for my handsome Brother in law {R} and my absolutely Gorgeous future Sister in Law {S}! It was soooo very cold out, but these two sure did not let the cold Freeze them out! lol.

Believe it or not, these are actually the first Engagements I have done, and I think that I have a New favorite thing to shoot:-)

These two are so in love and it is such a wonderful thing that they found each other! I cant wait to get to know my new sister {S} better, but let me just say that I LOVE her already!

I cant begin to explain how I love these people! We go way back, well our husbands do, {they served Latter-Day Saint Missions together, and became the best of friends}. Than us Wives became friends, and now our girls are best of friends too! What a GREAT blessing they have all been in our lives, and so it was a privilege for me to take their family pix. They are such a beautiful family {so forgive the picture overload, I just couldn't pic my favorite}.

I love family sessions! Especially at this location.

Sweet Family {K} came up and were all ready for smiles! They are such a great family and I feel so blessed to know them. It was a perfect fall day {it did get a bit chilly once the sun started going down, but they were all great despite the chill}. And WOW, this family sure do have some Beautiful Blue eyes! And Green! Love it!

7 days YounG baby {C}

The other day I had the privilege to meet this brand new little angel. I always consider taking peoples pictures a privilege {the fact that someone else lets me be a part of their lives for 30 or so pictures is such a blessing to me}. But ESPECIALLY for Newborn sessions. That is SUCH a Special and precious time in any family and so I simply Love when I get a call from sweet Mothers who are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their babes to schedule a session with me. This sweet baby boy {C} was a thrill to capture!

He is BEAUTIFUL!

Such a sweetheart he was, and he seemed to love the camera, because he even gave me some smiles! It was great to meet with his parents too {some good old friends from a few years back,} haven't seen them is ages! So this was quite the "reunion" :-)

Thanks so much new Mama {E} and Daddy {J} for letting me part of this special time in your lives.

4 Years YounG...{red headed beauty}

My favorite photo shoot. Why you might ask? Well, because it is of my favorite little girl in the whole wide world. And THE most Beautiful....(I am entitled to make that statement because she is Mine Forever:-) I love this little Red one so dearly....she is my best little girlfriend ever! So here is her 4 yr old photo session. It was a very special place to shoot too, since it is on location of where we will build our dream home someday. Thank you darling girl, for all the happiness you have brought me in my life!

Baby {N}~6 days Young

Can I just say.......I am IN LOVE! {Warning, picture overload...I couldn't decide on my favorites, because they all are my favs!} I had the priviledge to do a newborn session with sweet baby {N}, who had only been breathing air for 6 days! Oh what the CUTE! I seriously adore doing newborn shoots, there is just something so precious and sweet about these little ones. And the fact that I get to capture these tender moments is just a dream come true! I feel truly honored.
I dont know what else to say! No words, really! So all I have left to say is; just enjoy the pix!

Baby {S}~ 6 months young

Can I say how much I LOVE taking this little ones pix? Well, I LOOVVE it! I had the opportunity again to take baby {S}'s pictures. He is such the darling baby {even during the editing process my husband commented on how adorable he is}, and I was so excited when his Mama gave me a call to come again to their adorable home. We were so lucky that the weather was nice that day. No rain, that is:-) And it was even warm enough for The Littles to wear his onesie:-) Lots of serious looks, or super giggly when he saw his Mama {That boy loves his Mama}! He was such a good subject, even with the bright light and all:-)

Baby {M} 1 year young..

My sweet baby boy just turned 1! This precious time goes by so quick so I had to capture a few pix for his 1 yr old photoshoot. People always tell me "he looks like a vintage baby", so with that in mind, I chose this kind of "vintagee" backdrop. You like? I sure do! And Oh how I love this boy!!

Sweet sweet girls! I had the best time with this photo shoot AND editing it! I have been super excited to take these girls pix for one of their week night group activities. They were all dressed the part, and I am so pleased how these turned out! What sweet girls! The weather even cooperated! {A seldom thing these Spring days}!

I have run over this again and again in my head....and have come to a decision.
A lot has changed in my life, and in my little families life. And I am just trying to wrap my head around it all....
Due to this, I will be currently taking a break from my darling For The Love Of Pix Photography business. I hope to be able to start up again, come Fall 2011. {I will keep u posted}

To my dear sweet clients, THANK YOU for giving me such a great gift of capturing the precious moments in you lives! I feel it such a privilege! And I have grown so much from it!

And to those of you who currently have me booked, no worries!:-) We are still on for your scheduled shoot.

Baby {A} & Beautiful Mama {K}

OH how I love the spring! {AND BLUE eyes, so fun to photograph!} The best time to do shoots in my opinion. I did this cute fun shoot with a super darling girl and her baby! I love these two! Too bad Daddy couldn't make it. But we sure did have fun, despite little baby {A} dislike of grass! lol. He just wanted to be in his Mamas arms the whole time. I dont blame him...Mama's arms are the best place to be:-)

Darling {H} Family

My latest shoot, I got to capture a super darling family. Mom, Dad, Two sisters and a big brother and Dog:-) I really enjoyed working with them, and again have to give my clients a big hand for venturing out in this bitter cold weather. The day we had the session scheduled there was suppose to be a big snow storm, but we braved it, and got some cute pix. AND we were so lucky to not even see the snow (ok. maybe only a few flurries). But it worked! It was blowing like crazy so it was bitter..bitter cold! Good job to the girlies! Such sweet sisters, they were little troopers:-)AND big brother; darling one, he has such a sweet spirit! This was my first opportunity to work photographing a special needs child, and what a great experience it was! He loved the camera for sure! And I loved taking his pix:-) Truly a sweet little Dude!

{K} Family ~ so cute!

So this past week I had the opportunity to take these cute kids pix! They were such good sports that day, because it was FREEZING cold! Not to mention it was blowing too. I thought I had forgotten my gloves and to my surprise they actually were in my "glove compartment"! LOL, who would have known? Anyhow, so glad I found them :-) {K} kids did a great job keeping warm with thoughts of Hawaii and sunshine. It was a fun shoot and I am happy to have had this opportunity. Pretty gals, an one handsome guy. Seriously CUTE kids!

This is the my first session of 2011, and can I say what a GREAT start to the New Year this was! Adorable new parents {N & C} were so wonderful to work with. And I cant even describe how DARLING their new baby boy {S} was. There was something extra special about this little guy. So I have decided that I have the CUTEST clients EVER!

I had a great time with this beautiful family. Kids were wonderful, not to mention there was a red headed beauty among them (SMILE), but these children simply are Gorgeous! All 4 of them. There parents were darling too, so it was a great session. Such sweetness was to be found in Porterville that evening:-) LOVE IT!

I am so excited about this new place were {M} Family's session took place! My mom pointed it out to me the other day (with a few new other places, she loves to go walking and finds the coolest things, among them this BEAUTIFUL park), thanks Mama! The Autumn colors and leaves are still in tact here and the Fall is my Favorite season!:-) This little family is SO cute! Launching our new For The Love of Pix Photography {the blog}

For The Love of Pix Photography is getting a facelift, and a new address! (Im so excited)!!;-)

It all stemmed down to me wanting a slideshow header and after many failed attempts I decided to start from scratch and I finally found one I like.

So, I would love for my readers and clients to check our new blog, and give it a test run.

Scroll down to the bottom of this page and Vote or leave a comment here to let me know what you think about the new one, ideas, pointers etc.

This blog is a work in progress, (I have a few tweaks to do still), but I think it works out so far;-)

I had the opportunity to do a session with this adorable little family. It was quite fun, and we all enjoyed the surroundings. We got to shoot on location where Mommy {S} used to play when she was a little girl. And use some old Vintage Tractors too...super cool, especially for the little guy! (And Oh how I love all things vintage!) Here are a few of my favs!
